I'm Dreaming of a....

Okay, a couple of things before we get this party started.  First, my left eye has been watering non stop since yesterday.  Ug.  Make it stop.  I'm fairly sure I have no eye make up left on that eye.  Thanks tear ducts for sucking.  Second, (and I hit pot before going back to add my second, I temporarily forgot....)  Okay, second.  I'm up to two followers.  I know, it's not very many at all.  If you read my blog, will you pretty please follow me.  When I get up to.... I don't know, ten followers, I'm going to do a drawing.  It will be something great.  I know, ten is not many either, but I'm okay with that.

Now back to the party.

I've been trying to get in the Christmas-y mood.  It just hasn't happened yet.  But I'm trying.  So I've been thinking about the Christmas movies I need to watch to help get the festive feel going.

White Christmas.  This is one of my all time favorite movies.  When I was in high school, I watched it every time I was sick.  I'm pretty sure it's still sitting on top of the Blu-Ray player from last Christmas (don't judge me).  Everything about this movie is just so great.  If you haven't seen it (what?!) watch it this Christmas.  It's amazing.

The Muppet Christmas Carol.  This may actually be my all time favorite Christmas movie.  I remember going to see it in the theater when I was a kid.  I bought it a few years ago.  It's seriously the best Christmas movie there is.  I love it so much.  The only way it could be better is if it had Christian Bale in it, you know, like Newsies.  Sigh.

Love Actually came out when I was in college.  I went and saw it with a big group of girls that I was friends with.  I've loved it ever since.  I love all the story lines.  Oh, it's just so great.

Right now I want nothing more than to go home and watch Christmas movies all afternoon while I wrap the few presents I've bought and finish writing my Christmas cards.

So, what are your go to or must watch Christmas movies?  My husband tries to tell me Die Hard is a Christmas movie.  I seriously disagree.

  1. I have actually never seen Love Actually, but I've heard that it's a must!

My favorite Christmas movie of all time is Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town.

    1. You should totally watch it! It's great. Kind of more of a grown up Christmas movie, but I love it!
I don't think I've actually ever seen Santa Claus is Comin' to Town. I may have to watch that this year.
